I'm not positive on your readings but I'm sure someone here could set you straight. I'll get my multi meter and check my DT880's again to verify. Mine are stamped 600ohm.
You have the 600 ohm version.I had Fostex HP-A3 in the past but now I ordered o2/odac combo specially for my new DT880, o2 must put 88mw to 600ohm, I hope it will arrive soon
So, I used my multimeter and 200ohm mode didnt show anything (but measured 35 ohm on my 40ohm headphones). The 2k ohm mode says it's 0.560-570 kOhm that i guess is about 600ohm right? Sorry i'm a noob at this.

Hi guys, hoping someone can help. I've been looking all over this thread and Google and can't find a link to a replacement headband pad I saw a while back for the DT-880 Premium (not the snap on Pro but the other one). I know they can be replaced I've seen YouTube videos showing how to peel the old one off and put the new one on, but I can't seem to find a way to buy one now. Has Beyer discontinued the part? I can't find any pads at all for DT-880's on their site. I'm running replacement ear pads from Dekoni but they don't seem to have any headband pads.
The stock one has become pretty uncomfortable after a couple hours of use with the modmic as a gaming headset right in the middle of the headband. I'm guessing peeling the old one off and going with the snap on style will work but it seems like it might not fit well especially with the wings? I'm probably going to just break down and pick up a gaming headset for that use, but I'd still like to fix the DT-880's for music use.

I contacted Beyer directly and I believe they sent me for free. Maybe I paid shipping or something. But yeah just shoot them an email. Beyer is great to work with.

Doesn't seem like much of a difference. And the headband on the original isn't snap on
You can contact United Sound Services if you are in the US? Those guys over there are the US Repair/Replacement part guys for the states. The Headband is used for many sets the T70/T90, The Premium Black Editions 880/990 etc. I've bought a few off them along with other parts, replacement bows, slider sets, pads. I think that pad only runs about $11 too, plus shipping. You can call them up but be ready for talking on the phone....LOL those guys love shooting the S@@T, about random stuff. But they will take care of you parts wiseHi guys, hoping someone can help.
