I love the HD-650 and Shure 1840 mesh look. I like the colorway of the HD-598 too. In the end however, my pick is on the elegance of the Beyerdynamic T1.

"Salivate" is a bit generous. "Vomit" is more like it. But to each their own. I was never a fan of wood on headphones, with very few exceptions.
