Definitely let me know if you find the HD681B for sale anywhere.

PS--I live in New Jersey, USA.  So if you find it from a company outside of U.S. don't bother, because shipping rate will be way too high!  :)

I was looking for them a couple of weeks ago, and i only get search results on chinese or korean sites.

My thoughts exactly! :p

Since I can't get the Superlux HD681B, I am not sure if I should go for the HD681.  So it's back to the PortaPro or HARX700 for now.  I'm still looking at different reviews.  It would be really great if I could find one by someone who owned both, heh.

Looks like the 681B is the bass oriented one according to their website.  Question is, how is the bass on the regular 681.  Is it comparable to the PortaPro or HARX700?  Perhaps even better?  Anyone know?

After reading a couple more reviews, I am still considering the Superlux HD681 (regular), even though I can't find the 681B.

Anyone else have the Superlux HD681?  How is the bass on them?  How are the mids and highs?  I'll continue looking on this website and others to see what people are saying.

If you've ever had a car headunit with a "loud" setting they sound kind of like that.   There is an emphasis on the bass and treble with recessed mids.

Well, I am still a bit torn, but I am thinking that the Superlux HD681 might be better than the JVC HARX700.  One reason being that it is a semi-open design, which might help with clarity.  I hear the JVC's have nice bass, and at this point I can definitely say that I've seen enough people saying that Koss PortaPro has awesome bass.  So if I can find enough people saying that the Superlux's have nice bass (even though they are the regular model as opposed to the 681B), then I might have found a perfect balance in choice.

Please keep opinions coming about these three headphones, especially if you have owned any or all of them.

Well, pretty much.  $40 is my absolute limit after shipping/tax.  Sorry?  :p

I am looking for good bass, and I know Koss has that.  However, I would love to have a headphone that covers more area of my ear to be honest.  The JVC is closed-back which might give it a "cave-like" sound, or not be as clear as open-back.  Therefore, I am curious about the Superlux HD681!
