I really appreciate that TGXears includes the cost of shipping in the cost of his ear speakers.

We must all appreciate how this works, to send someone something halfway across the world overnight would cost as much or more than a set of earbuds.

I think it should be said if you want your ear speakers in a timely manner and not a low cost manner maybe reach out to @tgx78 and discuss other shipping options for an additional cost.
Absolutely. I didn't get mine from half-way around the world overnight, but then again I didn't pay for shipping on top of my Serratus either, so how could I possibly complain.

It should also be mentioned that TGXear will look after you with post-sale support and assistance. At first I was having a few issues getting the buds to sit just right in my ears, and TGXear sent me a couple of rubber o-rings to try instead of the foams, no charge at all. It's that kind of attention to customers that can be a rare thing, and it's clear that @tgx78 takes a lot of pride in his product and wants customers to get the best possible experience.

I was missing my Phonix after selling it, the mids on it was something else, let's just say Ripples is filling that void pretty well!
Haven't managed to listen to them yet but at least I have them now!

The Little DAP That Could!

The R3 Pro Saber 2022 does a really good job of pushing the Serratus nearly as good as the big boys!

Hello @tgx78 , I've read a lot about the serratus on this forum, and I've watched the reviews on youtube. It's really intriguing me, and it's just too tempting to buy. But I have a concern regarding the shells, because using the mx500 for long listening sessions hurts my ears. I was wondering if it is possible to make a serratus with the "Apple EarPods" style shells without ruining the tuning? Shells of that kind are the most comfortable, and having the possibility on using it for serratus just sounds like a dream come true.

I might be wrong, but it would take a lot more effort and tuning to ensure the sounds reach your ear in the order it was intended; why IEMs with many different tech and drivers cost a fortune and sometimes don't sound that much better than a single tech/driver one. Having a flat surface is easier for sound processing

He offers a bell type unit that doesn't use the mx500 shell. Check that out. It's what I've ordered.

Yeah worth a look. @klsq TGXear also have a sample bell to see if it suits your ears. If you're using those earpods I would assume your concha small and meatus quite acutely angled. The bell might work but could still have issues...

Speak to @tgx78!
