Serratus is a beast of a transducer
Yeah, the detail retrieval is second-to-none and it's just a great all-rounder. Awaiting with bated breath what's to come out of the TGXear labs

+1 to @ian91 for the correct use of "bated breath" (from Shakespeare).Yeah, the detail retrieval is second-to-none and it's just a great all-rounder. Awaiting with bated breath what's to come out of the TGXear labs.
Hummm. The EM5 is lots of fun but it’s just a weirdly balanced earbud don’t you find ?Anyone could tell me how Tantalus compared to Fiio EM5? Who is bigger in sub bas and mid bas region? The first has a fully beryllium diaphragm, the last has a beryllium coat on diaphragm of unknown material
Are you going to get the Tentalus soon ?Yeah, the detail retrieval is second-to-none and it's just a great all-rounder. Awaiting with bated breath what's to come out of the TGXear labs.

Should be released early next month. CheersWhat’s up with “ripples” - I saw you’re making some new/upcoming set. Did I miss that in this thread?
I will say as someone who has absolutely no problem with mx500 or ok or bell shaped buds, I absolutely could not wear og apple buds for long without pain.Hi everyone!
For the past 2 years I've been on a IEM binge. Have gone through about 30 sets and finally happy with a few keepers.
Now I've seen a few earbuds that have peaked my interest lol. The Serratus has been getting lots of praise. But another set that seems like a good option is the fiio FF3. Just wanted to see if anyone could explain what the jump up in quality would be if I went for the Serratus?
One concern i would have is the fit. I remember that older wired Apple buds always hurt my ears after about 10-15 minutes of listening. Are newer models like these mentioned any better in comfort for you guys?
