Would like to let MrWalkman know that the RMT-NWS10B works just as well on the A55 with his CFW as it does on a stock player. I think you can edit the FAQ on your site which mentions that only the RMT-NWS20 works. And many thanks for this CFW of course, the WM1Z tuning is super pleasing.

All the regions have their own place as they serve different tastes. But the most popular around here is probably J and MX3. Dampened means slightly subdued treble or peakiness or harshness and may not necessarily mean muffled or boomy in that sense. A good balanced region to start with would be J.

Settled on mx3, wm1z, dac initialization off, high gain, plus mode v2 (not going to lie no clue what plus mode does)

Plus v2 mode refines the sound a little and removes some unused background processes in the Walkman that in turn save battery life. But it also cripples the Bluetooth DAC mode. So if you don’t use Bluetooth DAC the Plus v2 mode would be the ideal choice.

Has anyone experienced any reboot issue? I’ve had my 1A (with an old dawn fw) rebooted when I plug in the cable in dac mode, and one time when I deleted an album folder.
