Guys where can i find a replacement battery for my WM1A?

Contact Sony directly, and tell them you want to get a battery replacement. They did it for my ZX300. It was about 95usd

You hand your dap in to the local Sony center and they perform the replacement as I understand it. Or if you are in UK you can send it to Nayparm

Maybe. At the very least he can tell you which battery to get and where

Are you using the wm1z sound signature, J3 region, plus v2 and dac initialization on normal mode?

same, i tried going to back E2 or MX3 but J3 just sounds so right. im addicted to my wm1a. even the wife gets jealous that im not letting her use my player hahaha, i gave her my a55 but she wants the wm1a

AFAIK, only EU has the volume limiter for Walkmans. In any case, this can be easily disabled by changing your region using Walkman one or the region changer tool.

As @aceedburn said only EU models have the vol limited. However to satisfy yourself you could check with the SonyNWDestTool
