I bought NW=WM1Z 20 days ago, found out about "MrWalkman", installed it successfully.

.zip 568.4 MB, I set it to (Japan, Bright and Plus 2 )

1- Are there other firmware options besides MrWalkman that are worth it?

2 - Does not appear "J3"

J3 is supported, it’s just not mentioned in the comments in the settings file. Just type J3 in the region setting and reboot the player

MrWalkman is the only one who has made a custom fw. There are before him quite a few custom tunings from other members (that is what started it) and there are earlier versions og MrWalkman’s fw if you can find them (I have probably 80-90% of all tunings and fw available including all official and unofficial stock fw versions from Sony)

Just type J3 into the region field. It is supported.

Yes it is. Only for 1A and 1Z. Not for ZX or A series.

If you delete the setting file on reboot when it gets recreated it will show J3 on the test version.

I mean, I can controll it trough my stearing wheel buttons in my car...

To my knowledge nobody over the 6 years have been able to get anything other than Sony’s own remote to work

J3 has great crazy synergy with 7 Hertz Timeless, great textured bass, great depth,extremely holographic, great great dynamics and even better separation. Wow, I’m falling in love with listening again. This is on high gain, PMV 2. Performance is probably comparable to Fir Neon 4, which is a great feat

You're not alone on your thoughts re the synergy - there is something so seriously special between the player and the IEMs that nothing else I have can touch - it is quite quite mesmerising, and makes the Timeless seem pretty darned perfect, I honestly cannot find anything wrong with them.

Yeah I do like the Timeless with my WM1Z mod and the Walkman One fw. For me they're a keeper.
