For Kann Alpha, I extract the microsd and put it in the pc reader, I copy and paste flac files and when I finish, I insert the card again in A&K ... Are you saying that in the walkman it is not done like that? I have to connect my A55 with the microsd inside and then copy files?

You can do it either way. But the music files have to be in the MUSIC folder. Just format the card in the Walkman first before inserting it into your card reader and you will have the correct folder structure.

Thanks friend, now I have understood well. And as for Sony's 'MusicCenter' app, what benefits can it bring me? Do you use it for something?

I don't use it because it has always been slow and clunky even on my latest 2019 PC. The older Media Go application works much better. I do use it to manage my music collection (tags, album art, etc), build playlists and keep them synced up every time I connect the Walkman.

I only use it for the 12 tone analysis for all my music files which enable the sense me feature in the walkman which i find super cool. It atomatically creates almost a dozen different playlists with different music genres for time of day, mood, etc. I love it!

Media Go can still perform the SenseMe analysis and grab data from Gracenote despite ostensibly having been superseded by Music Center. It's as if Sony is well aware that the Music Center app trips over its own feet the moment you have more than like 50 albums in your collection. I have 1,093... and counting.

Yeah. But I do my own id3 and cover art tagging for all my files. I only use music centre for senseme.

In these 5 days i analized my 7000 more Song on my walkman, the sense me channel Is a great software tool for "on the go" but Sony music center have some issues with the senseme in wm1a;while on the Sony center (for example) it analyzed 30 songs, some of these are not recognize on the wm1a.
I fixed the problem in this way:
Convert the songs in "alac" and remove the automathic tag (for convert i use xrecodeII),After that all the song be recognize by Sony walkman center and also in my wm1a (sorry for my bad english)

and if someone wants to analyze his songs, but have many songs in a single folder, sensme channel will create each folder for each artist, creating a bunch of useless folders.
if anyone needs to remedy this boredom, I have a little tutorial via prompts to merge multiple files in different folders into one folder, both have the ability to both copy and move them

Another for 12 tone analysis, so that you can use the SenseMe feature on the players, the rest of the MusicCenter is poor at best; struggling to deal with larger libraries, and slow a molasse just to update basic metadata in the tracks.
