Why don't you just convert everything to FLAC which supports ID3 tags? You will also save a significant amount of space on the ZX-300 with no loss in sound quality,

After having Sony DAPs for the past several years playlists are quite new to me - is anyone able to please tell me the advantages of playlists over bookmark lists?

- You can name playlists to whatever you want.
- You can create as many playlists as you want (only 10 Bookmark lists I believe)
- If you're happy to do so, you can create a playlist on a PC and move the playlist file to the /MUSIC folder on the SD card (can save time)

Thanks, I was creating my first playlist last night and realised some of the advantages over bookmarks. I feel satisfied with the improvements gained by this update, my experience with Sony is that they don't really give an update unless it adds a feature that they can use to get you to buy another of their products. Perhaps they followed this thread and have heard my pleas, more likely it's now become so competitive in the DAP market that the exclusion of a feature like creating playlists may be the final push to another of the many brands

Most of my music is ripped to FLAC, when ripping CDs. That Norah Jones album is just a high res download that I haven't converted yet.

This is a tangent, but has anybody bought a right angle 4.4mm male to 2.5mm female balanced cable?
I found this one, but I've never heard of KK cable.

I have been going back and forward through the last few pages, looking for a certain post on the update. Someone mentioned the Mojo/Poly or just mojo in relation to the update. I think the post implied maybe making the ZX300 not work with Mojo/Poly. However I never really understood what it was saying.

Can't find the post now though, and I want to check again. I intend on using ZX300 with Mojo (Or Hugo 2), when my cable arrives. (Price of the WM-OTG cable £30, and on any other format you can get an OTG for a few pounds. Grrr!)

What I wanted to say is that I own Chord Mojo /Poly and it's a overpriced piece of crap product. Sony has with recently released firmware opened features that make this product better than Mojo / Poly.
