A series are throw away models and can't be compared to the ZX and WM models which are currently VERY well received by the audiophile community and they'll be shooting themselves if they refresh too quick.

Phone is irrelevant - different department for starters and secondly phones always gets 2 updates per year either way as Japan has two major phone contract renewal rush in April and December, Sony always refresh in time for those times in accordance to carrier demands.

Its the same phone series tho. Its there flagship lineup for MSRP of 799$ per phone and they released a new on every 5 months already. They will adopt this to the walkmans! I dont speak without knowledge and what I say are no assumptions or anything. Its 100% save they will release a new version of the ZX300 in at least 1 year.

OK everything looks cool except the price. Honestly it would have been a good deal if there aren't so many other DAP from China in coming days. Colorfly, Shanling, Hiby, Caiyn are all having new models coming out within this year.

Many things can happen actually.

Audio products are much more flexible in terms of release schedule compared to phones, they can push back/move forward depending on the demand of the previous product. Phones are updated on a fixed timetable because of known contract renewal times. There's a reason iPhones are ALWAYS updated on September every year - to catch Black Friday and Christmas shopping period in the US. And Sony updates their phone according to its own Japanese spending rush. But again pretty irrelevant, the two branches of the company don't even talk to each other in Sony.

That would be wonderful as I really want to see what this ES9016P is about. I have not been reading much into it, perhap it could be the DAC chip that has high quality built in amplification stage for portable device which was still under the hatching and planing a couple years ago.

If LGV30+ can have that much RoM and with good sound quality and Portability + T-Mobile band compatible , then I may upgrade

It's obvious with that pricing and spec if they increase the storage the ZX300 will very likely take away interest from the WM1A.
