well it was obvs that it will support it also there will be no update for WM1Z or WM1A for anything of that because the hardware is not comaptible!

Sony claims that atleast, I cannot source anything since I am at ifa and speaking with a sony guy

Well its easy to add when done one time, if they will release a Signature Series update next year they will probably add that and all other features ZX300 has

Yeah, right....I really don't want Sony to pull out a cheap trick and follow A&K, you know ? Even A&K had always allowed their players to be USB DAC featured .

Don't lead my inner demon to upgrade to the next 3-5k Walkman signature just because the present 3k Walkman do lack USB DAC function in comparison to their lower tier player.

I want to upgrade it just because I want, crave, and hunger for new sound performances and designs, tuning, developments of what Sony had been doing....rather than being leaded by such a simple reason.

Sony might have dropped MQA from ZX300, I cannot find any info to it anywhere. Also the A40 page shows big MQA support but the ZX300 does not. Might be just some fail advertising tho
