i dont think they have the same capacitors of zx300Also, does the A45 have capacitors like the ZX300 where they need burn in? If so, how many hours would it take for the sound to improve, and how much of a difference will there be? I have somewhere around 180 hours of playback at a 20-45 volume level, and as far as I can tell I don't think I've really heard a difference yet. I don't know too much about this, so sorry if this is a obvious or stupid question.

I just did some Googling and I don't think they do either. How long do you think it might take for the sound to get better after some burn in, and by how much?
I don’t feel a40 needs burn in, they are too efficient and absences of those capacitors , they sound the same to me to of those demo pieces.I just did some Googling and I don't think they do either. How long do you think it might take for the sound to get better after some burn in, and by how much?
Just to add on to clear some stuff here do Rmb that it’s your ears and mind that is more likely to burn in , in these contexts . At least not in this tier/ class I feelI don’t feel a40 needs burn in, they are too efficient and absences of those capacitors , they sound the same to me to of those demo pieces.
Aside from features like the USB DAC (and a couple other things I'm not too sure of), I dont think there's many differences, including sound quality. I heard that the UI on the A35 is a bit laggy in comparasion to the A45, so I would keep that in mind too.
I don't actually own an A35, so my 2 cents might not be the most reliable. If you're not too concerned over features like the USB DAC or potential lag on the device, it might not be a bad idea to get the A35 if you're able to get a used one for cheaper.
I can confirm the UI response difference. I own the A35 and was just testing the A45 a few days ago at Yodabashi. There is a significant difference in UI response. The A35 is laggy while the A45 is totally fine.
I don't think I heard any difference too.. so not sure about the capacitors..I guess theres no need for burn in.Also, does the A45 have capacitors like the ZX300 where they need burn in? Yup...this is the most obvious difference. I think even with the new a35 firmware...a45 is still more fluid.I can confirm the UI response difference. Hi to all, first post, I have been a long time lurker of this thread as I have had my eye on the A45 since last year as I was visiting the States and thought I would pick one up. Well that did not work out as the release was postponed to 2018.
I am looking to pick up a pair of 1000xm2 headphones and was thinking this player would be a good pairing. Since last year my Google pixel phone has been updated to 8.0 Oreo which of course supports LDAC. My question is whether the A45 player just sends the signal via BT for the headphones to decode or does the player decode and then send to the headphones ? If the former then is there really any benefit from purchasing the A45 over using the pixel, apart from more storage and not using up the phones battery ?
On a separate note, could some owners post some HQ pictures of their moonlit blue and black A45s ? I can't seem to find any good pictures online and my local stores do not have it on display. Would be even better if the pictures included the 1000xm2 headphones also if any owners have both. Thanks

I'm not too sure how the LDAC feature works, but aside from the other reason you mentioned, I pretty much got this DAP for how well it sounds, which is pretty nice IMO, especially when utilizing the SQ settings. I have my A45 in black, so I'll include some pictures which I hope'll satisfy your needs.

Side by side with my MDR-1As (I don't have the 1000x so this is the closest I could get):
MDR-1as are pretty good. And sony pairs well with sony. Heard a45 with N3 iem at sony center...bliss... too bad i cant afford it.I'm not too sure how the LDAC feature works, but aside from the other reason you mentioned, I pretty much got this DAP for how well it sounds, which is pretty nice IMO, especially when utilizing the SQ settings. Lol this was exactly what I was thinking when I got the A45. When looking for the DAP to get I was considering getting a Sony since I already had Sony headphones, and yea I'd agree these are definitely a great pair

has anyone got the volume limit removal link i bought a euro model and i want to remove the limit on it
Yes, i did. First, on a 35 model and now on my 45A unit, and everything is great, very easy to do. I can tell you that is a biiig improvement in the volume level.

Does anyone actually know whether the headphone port of the A45 is OMTP or CTIA? I'm considering getting another pair of HD1 In ears, but I don't know which version I should get.
