I got me a few of those cheapo connectors and they are easy to use in my opinion. Just needs some glue to keep them together. Anyways, I use Kinboofi super soft cables from Amazon and reterminated them. Also made an adapter(aka snelledapter) from MMCX to the Sony one, to you use on my other cables.

Yea it's supposed to come by end of this month. Dropped by their store yesterday and felt like a complete idiot cuz they only have cables with mmcx/2 pin connectors to try out and i only have my ex600s at hand. Cables with exk connectors have to be pre ordered and not on display to try out. But i did have a good feel of the Lune and it's really well constructed, good solid braiding which doesn't feel stiff and microphonic, good y splitters and jacks/connectors. Well it better be for the price. That's all i can say for now

I got this cable from PWaudio because I didn’t love the feel of the stock one. Not as soft as the Null Audio Lune cable, but it goes with the EX1000 aesthetic better and it won’t turn green over time

For Null Audio cables, from what I've seen, they have a sale once every couple months? Their last sale ended last week, and I'm guessing their next one will be in early August for Singapore's National Day.

Anyone with the ex1k heard anything in the fearless audio line? Been looking at the s8pro or s8f, want an all ba iem with mpre isolation than the ex. Be cool if someone had comparisons between anything their lineup and the almighty 1k. Im not looking to get rid of the sony by the way, its just too good

Humanity has been trying to solve that for the last 8 years, with some even having to shove 5 BAs, painting them green and pricing them above a thousand dollars just to be mentioned on the same breath.

I gave up with that attempt for the same reason people don't wear their HD600s outdoors but do check out toranku's thread on headfi or BGGAR's youtube channel..

Ya im not dropping 1200 on the andromedas. The s8pro are 500 new so not bad at all price wise

Might wanna check out james444's take on the JVC FD-01 modded as well. It's not all BA and worn cable down, but it's selling at a good price point and for a long time exk owner to say he slightly prefers it in certain instances and has better isolation, that has to mean something

Im really going for all ba since i want a different presentation. I dont think ill find a dynamic i enjoy more than the ex1k and im not trying to replace it. Simply looking for something different but on the ssme level

What dac/amp is everyone using for the ex1000s? I've been looking out for a zo but it seems like its getting harder to find. So I'm wondering what alternatives seem to work well?
