I'm new on the forums.

Are the SK Pro's by Skullcandy good? I want answers from experience from THIS headphone. I've heard others are bad. What about these?

Otherwise, I want DJ style headphones. $120 and under. Ones that sound good and look cool. I'm using this for iPod/CPU use.

(to nullstring): I listen to Rap/hip hop, rock, Electronica. That good for you?

Thanks!

EDIT: do the "Ultrasone DJ1" work with an iPod?

Experience with them? No. However I would bet that they can be beat by a lot of things at the 100$ price range.

Let's see. Audio Technica M50, M-Audio Q40, Beyerdynamic DT770 PRO 80 ohm. Just three that I picked off the top of my head that would almost certainly be better.

EDIT: Also, add the sennheiser HD 280 and sony MDR-V6 to that list.

None of the full sized skullcandys are good.

I am gonna recommend you look at ATH-M50's

In any case, if we are gonna recommend headphones, we're gonna need to know your music preferences.

Ummm... Those are a bit high. $100 range instead?

Beyerdynamic's was $200 at amazon. Seriously?

Try Ultrasone DJ1, or Pro-580/550.

I LOVE the design. Any similar design for less?

Or place where you can buy it for cheap?

If you think that is expensive then just hang around here for a few months, that feeling will go away fast.

If you don't mind me asking, are you actually using them for DJing or are you using them for home listening?

Home listening. Possibly portable, but I prefer sound/comfort over anything.

The sound is great too, try used on the FS forum, or ebay / craigslist...

Do you know the warranty on them? Are they durable?

SC aren't good value at all. I can attest to the M50's SQ and for the price you pay they are quite good.
