I'm wondering "cable effect" specially with srh1840. How do you find stock cable? I mean, would you use stock if it has balanced already?
I have two balanced LQI Cables and a balanced Surf cable in 4.4mm. I have never used the stock cable.

Listening time. LPGT as a source is growing on me.

I really dig the look of these cans -- I know, not the most important aspect of a headphone, granted, but I still really appreciate an interesting looking set of cans. :)

So far, the SRH1840 is better on the Sony NW-WM1Z than LPGT. Too thin on LPGT. How long is burn in for SRH1840?
A full day of listening and the opposite is true today. SRH1840/LPGT is glorious.

Me too. They're slick for sure.

Well, the bass of the SRH1840 sure is better today since my left eardrum is fully operational! Talk about cleaning your ears. Cotton swabs just push things down further; be careful.

I give up! Today it sounds phenomenal on NW-WM1Z.

Due to de Sony  ....
Now I only use Shure SRH1840 with NW-WM1Z, balanced. It is simply amazing. The SRH1540 headphones seem to do best with Lotoo Paw Gold Touch.

Does anybody have voltage and amp requirements for Shure SRH1840 headphones?

According to many revivew, at least 8v is necessery. I drive them with 2v portable dac amp and still good.
I know 8 volts is max. Lotoo Paw Gold Touch pushes 4.025 volts.
