I'm not exactly sure of the chain here in the pic vs what you described. Can you clarify how this works with mono blocks?
.... It is plenty comfy ....That chair doesn't look like it reclines. Missed opportunity?
The part of the system no one ever shows. While not perfect, I've spent quite a bit of time ensuring power is separated from interconnects. All audio runs into a Furman 6B-Pro except for the Ferrum which I run straight into the wall. All XLR / RCA / USB run above the power below.
All of my PC and miscellaneous items is also connected to a Furman 6B-Pro and run into a separate outlet.

sure!
dac xlr to Zähl HM1 (as preamp)
Zähl preamp out to monoblocks
monoblocks speaker cables out to zynsonix adaptor box
xlr out from adaptor box to headphones
OK that makes way more sense now. That Zynsonix box I've been looking at earlier and it seems like a great piece of gear.
Sweet set up, and love the iFi gear, as I own, and am a big fan of their "house sound". Do you currently use the Rockville to EQ. I still have a 20-band equalizer from RadioShack, bought in the early 00's to experiment with my 2-channel set up back then. Never did wow me, pulled it and put in a box. Just curious. What little I EQ my headphone stack comes from the Schiit Loki Mini.not in frame: HiX55, JT1, HD559, AD700x, Blon something or other.. in cases: 99 classics, Aonic 40 .. stack / chain isnt hooked up right now, as i am waiting for a new usb dock. got a Dell XPS 15.. and thing has no USB inputs... lol .. so recent testing of MSR7b on braided 8 core cables and the JT1 has all been on 3.5mm out on laptop.
I bought the 60 wpc version (SX-3800) ~1981. Four years later we got a house and I started chasing down high end audio. After having a local electronics whiz fix a few little things, I gave it to a family member. 40 years later, it's still going strong and sounding good.after having both for about a decade these are still two of my favorite audio things. I wanted this SX-3600 receiver since I saw one new when I was about 10yrs old, couldn't convince my parents to buy me one in 1980~ but found this one for $80 at an estate sale, was VERY stoked. My DT770 Pro 80's have been my default home headphones for about a decade as well here.
I have v2 of the Cavalli Liquid Carbon and love that sound. Its size and modest cost when new really gave no sign of how really good it sounds. All my headphones sound wonderful on it.Greetings from Spain!!
The amplifier is a real discovery for me, but having a KlimaxDS (exakt) in front is a sure value to make my custom color LCDs sound amazing.
Be safe and healthy!
