100+ Head-Fier
Thanks for the info. That is a start. How is ZMF selling their phones? You have like 3 different cables or just one that comes in the box, and one you have to choose ?

I love the "wallet detail" in your pic. But I wonder if is really empty after your head-fi journey?
In fact, the journey took me quite a bit of money. But it was worth it.I love the "wallet detail" in your pic. But I wonder if is really empty after your head-fi journey?
watches!not in frame: HiX55, JT1, HD559, AD700x, Blon something or other.. in cases: 99 classics, Aonic 40 .. stack / chain isnt hooked up right now, as i am waiting for a new usb dock. got a Dell XPS 15.. and thing has no USB inputs... lol .. so recent testing of MSR7b on braided 8 core cables and the JT1 has all been on 3.5mm out on laptop.

Holy smokes! As a kid, one of my father's most cherished possessions was a pair JBL L100's. When my mother would go out shopping he would sit my brother and I in the living room and pull out his vinyl collection and we'd listen to records together. The very first album that absolutely blew my mind was Relayer by Yes. Years later, I was lucky enough to see the original band including Chris Squire and Rick Wakeman twice in concert. One of those concerts The Alan Parsons Project was the opener and we actually met Alan Parsons. I'll never forget the crackle of the vinyl spinning on the turntable and my father's smile while we listened. That's what started me down this hifi rabbit hole thirty five years ago. I'm still chasing a system that puts me back on the couch with my father and brother listening to Relayer.I see you like 'Relayer'. I have a signed limited edition print I picked up for 80 bucks at an antique mall. It's pretty big and framed. I couldn't believe it was just sitting there in a booth.
If this impresses you, I should show you what else I fit in the same 10x10 room
"Just one pair": Auteur Classic.Just a quick question for those of You with ZMF headphones.
I maybe will be able to borrow headphones from a store. It will be just one pair so i would like to ask You - which one i should borrow ;

I would prefer the closed one but if the open is better than open it is.
About the size of the pads opening - are they bigger than the Denon AH D9200 ? I need something bigger than the Denon pads.
Thanks in advance
monoblocks not just for Abyss or Susvara! using the Zähl HM1 as preamp. super sounding to me! zero harshness, and not sterile or lean. just clean, full, balanced, and slightly on the warm side. the Utopia 2022 is such a great headphone, and the Zähl HM1 as a preamp is amazing. Just wish it had a remote!
Great reminiscence! OK, what colour were the foam grilles for JBL L-100s?Holy smokes! As a kid, one of my father's most cherished possessions was a pair JBL L100's.
