That's funny! I didn't even notice that ... too busy eyeballing the DAC & speakers.

But since you mention this, I was unaware there were other PSYCHO films beyond Hitchcock's. Maybe because I want to be unaware of that.
The second one is surprisingly not awful and has a great Jerry Goldsmith soundtrack.

Some new additions for 2024, the Holo Audio Bliss KTE h/p amp and Red network streamer. Very impressed with both! I think the Red especially can save me some money that was being used to buy CDs, and put that towards some new headphones. Still going strong with the HD800S!

Nice setup... and rack stand... :relaxed:

I just use two shelves. The bottom shelf is a place holder as the stand the stack it's sitting on is barely wide and deep enough fit the shelf.

I want one of those Quadraspire SVT Component Racks, but that price is hard to swallow, and since I need a new computer desk / work bench that I can also stack gear on.

(note-to-self: the devil looks like a DAP)
Sorry for the late reply, some comments slip by me. I meant R2R. R2R is the devil. I must admit... it sounds very nice.

But DAP's only bring joy and happiness. Look at this guy.

@jonathan c

How do like the Teac VRDS 701 as a CD player? Are you just using it as a CD player or both (DAC)?

Somewhere down the line I'm going to have to replace my 20-year-old Rotel and was checking out the VRDS 701T (Transport) as I don't need another DAC). I'm not getting one now, but it's a consideration for later.

Was wondering what you thought of your 701 as a CD player?

Yes it does. In my experience, NOS sounds the best of the lot.

I'm on the lookout for a used Cayin RU6, which is basically a dongle (one larger than some, but still in that size range) that is a full multibit, resistor ladder DAC. I tell myself it will strictly be for travel, which is true but hardly the whole story.

I bull myself constantly in this manner. It's a victimless crime.

The TEAC that I use is a transport: 701-T. Below it is Musician Taurus DAC (R2R in NOS mode).
