This opens a rabbit hole with regard to Drop, IMHO.
Obviously Shanling isn’t happy with Drop’s sold through offering.
Does Drop move product on a regular basis without the express consent of the manufacturer?
Product support expectations for the Drop M30 just took a nosedive.

If you buy M30 from this Drop, you get no support from us or our USA/International dealers.
Drop has dedicated FAQ page regarding manufacturer warranty / no-warranty regarding their sales.

..only a joke, would never buy an audio device for over 3k with basically no warranty or support. I don't understand how such no-deals get released on drop.BUT you get drop reward points

Yes, it's rather common for Drop to purchase units from intermediary parties without using the authorized distribution channel, resulting in no manufacturer warranty. I believe this goes against their stated policy (as the Quad rep states), but that hasn't stopped them so far.Does Drop move product on a regular basis without the express consent of the manufacturer?
Examples from recent memory-
[Manu Statement- similar to Shanling's] Quad Va-One + Tube Amp
[Review- unit exploded, likely that they sent the incorrect voltage since their second round listing didn't offer 240v] Quad Va-One + Tube Amp
[Discussions- Lack of Warranty + customer issues] Violectric v280
[Possible Shell company usage between Massdrop & Darkvoice /La Figaro] Any Darkvoice/La Figaro, La Figaro manu (Yuking Audio-Video Lab) states "If you purchased a product through massdrop, please contact massdrop. If you have a dark voice product, please contact dark voice (we are not dark voice and do not support their products)." (source: contact us page on their website)
[Manu Statement] Denafrips Ares II
There are plenty more that I can't remember at the moment, but a general search for the term "unauthorized" or "not authorized" in their discussions [linked prior] reveals a lot of manufacturers or creators taking issue with the way Drop is distributing their products outside of official channels / without express consent of an official distributor.
Edit: odd statement from Drop employee about providing an authorized dealer receipt if someone has an issue - personally this reads as though the employee/dept would make a (legit) purchase that you can use the warranty from. The listing provides no mention of warranty.

Sorry for the noob question...
Is Hifigo an official retailer for Shanling products?

Yes, Hifigo is official dealer of Shanling. They are based in China, so keep that in mind when it comes to things like support, shipping, import taxes and warranty.Sorry for the noob question...
