With the exception of the display. Holy sht! I can imagine the price. If it's Androud I would be surprised.

- just read above post. Player modules??

Our plans would be to offer two version of digital player module, one with simplified system, one with full android.

We are currently making full android player, so no issue with making switch to one for desktop unit.

Any idea on the price range? Need to start saving..

I am guessing a low power custom player and a full android that is more battery intensive.

Please have an oled option.

Price will depend on modules, we aim at probably starting at 2k USD.

I hope the basic unit is low price. That way we can have something to start with and add modules as needed. Also the player/display needs to be able to tilt up.
No problem , just 2k and its yours.

Well the most expensive product they manufacture the M6 is only $500 on Amazon. They tend to make reasonably priced products. I can see the modules being expensive. They could have some basic DACs and amps and then license out the modules for others to add to it. I think a reasonable price on the bare unit would be a good way to start. Who m m knows. It could start some kind of new standard if promoted righr.

Sorry to repeat this part. You mean two different version players? One will be fully Android another will be Shangling's own OS? And at the moment only the Android version is being made ?

I really wish they will offer a version with high capacity internal storage ( or 2 SD slots). Only 1 SD in such a big unit is ridiculous !!

also I hope they will propose an iPad app to more easily manage the playback like Aurender’s app or A&K connect ( or alternatively a detachable screen)

Holy ! That looks like end game transportable gear to me ! 2K starting price seems to be pretty competitive considering the prices of the other hi-end portable/transportable gear this will product will be trading blows with. Saddly that's well outside my budget for the foreseeable future, a lot due to Brazil's import taxes :frowning2:

and the weight ?

Not set yet.

The most expensive product we offer is our 25th anniversary signature line of CD transport, DAC, Pre amplifier and pair of Monoblocks. Around 6 000 USD per piece, over 30k USD for whole rig.

Yes, two different digital player modules.
