If you like what you hear you owe it to yourself to try the shallow b-type pads. Pad swapping is very easy on this headphone.

There's a post here that have it, not sure how accurate it is though.
 
Anyway here is my new favourite pads (used for Denon and W1000 series)
 

 
Bought it from a dealer nearby, about 20$. The sounds changes quite significantly though. At first I did not like it much but after some time it kinda grew on me. Now I can't listen to the stock B pads anymore (weird even though I loved it at first). It seems more balanced, the vocal is less forward, bass tighten up, treble doesn't seems to change much. But the biggest changes was the soundstage, which is great for classical pieces. Comfort is really good, a bit tight at first but soften up afterward, the depth of the pads is huge so no more ear touching grill problem.

Does anyone have any insight into the paring if the Sonorous VI headphone with either the Cowon Plenue 1 [P1] or Cowon Plenue S [PS] DAPs?
 
Any suggestions for a balanced cable (with a 3.5mm TRSS)?
 
The PS supports a balanced out with a low 2 ohm impedance ... so I anticipate a crisp clear low end ...
