They said that the sound difference of the different types is coming from the acoustic difference of the different materials they use surrounding the driver.

Which makes sense considering Aurorus Borealis uses just a 10$ driver and is still one of the best HPs out there imo.

Sonorous VI: The head band on my Sonorous VI peeled completely off. Is there original or after market solution for head band replacement for the Sonorous line?

Personally I use a headband cover, only treats the symptoms, not the cause, but out of sight out of mind, y'know...

I agree. After owning around 30 sets of headphones, I've ended up only keep a few, which include Final Sonorus IV and the Susvara.

Just finished replacing my disintegrating faux leather headband on the Final VI, in conjunction with new earpads and headset cable I should be set for years to come.

What headband did you replace with? Same One?
