I'm not really impressed with the service. I ordered a woodie and DBA2 and I was told the lead time would be a about a week, it's now been 10 days, and the seller (GD) is not replying to my emails (1 on mon, a follow-up today).

I just got an email from them saying my order shipped. I checked my account yesterday and it said shipped so I guess it shipped yesterday even though I was officially notified today.
 
So how long can I expect shipping to take from Russia to the states?

Also...I believe there is some holiday going on in Russia around this time...perhaps that is why people are not getting the normal fast responses from Dmitry.

Usually it takes about two weeks or so to reach the US.

I got an update on my order too. Hmmm wonder if posting to forums complaining helped ? Hopefully the DBA-2 will really be in stock this week and then they'll send the order with the FA-002w and I can get the things within 2 weeks.

i had actually put aside the 003 from my active table, ready for delivery to my buyer.
BUT i just took it out and plugged it in...YANNI showed up at the ACROPOLIS...
and myyy was i blownaway...ya the overused word...blown away.

That brillance that warmth is delicious, i know the 003 is not perfect,
becos perfection comes with the 005 and 007 tats gonna come along...
and i WILL BE BACK.

Took my 003 out to Macdonalds for a cuppa....
Plugged it into my standby player, the Hippo Gumstick.
Ho ho....gorgeously full bodied the sound.

It's a perfect portable combo...
Both are so lite weight..The isolation amazing..
The paddings...new Zealand lamb skin like.. pleather if u believe me.
The class A current can really juice this 003.

Regarding the service from GD Audiobase it is as I found out not as organised as some websites. But I found Dmitry very helpful prior to purchase. Like everyone, after the order I heard nothing, I only had the moneybookers confirmation. Then suddenly, I had an email and then tracking it was near impossible. It turned up in the UK about 10 days later. 
 
I would definitely buy from them again, but if they improved the communication around the ordering and delivery I think this would help with people's concern over status.
 
And the product is fantastic. Well worth the wait and patience IMO.

Guys, can you run some frequency sweeps on your FA-003s? Like say a 30 second sweep from 20-20. I want to know if other people have channel imbalance on their FA-003s. Mine has some very significant imbalance around 7-12 kHz area. Can't remember exactly where, but around this region, the frequency shifts from one side to the other quite noticeably and if I only listen through one cup, the sound quiets down to almost complete silence at some frequency ranges. Mostly, the left channel is affected. The right channel sounds pretty even to me. Daanish reports that his new FA-003 does not have any channel imbalance like my pair does.
