Hey Dfkt, how is it going from customs to universals. I was thinking bout buying some universals just to carry in my pocket.

It's just fine, depending on the situation. The customs sure don't feel overly 'subtle' to me, filling out my whole ears... I find many universals to be more comfortable. Same goes for my custom Sonus hearing protectors - guess I'm just a bit more sensitive than average.

Of course nothing isolates like customs. As for the sound, well, there's not that much difference between the $79 Hippo, $300 IE8, $1150 UE11...

Hi DKFT, just a quick question here how loud is the Clip compared to the Fuze?

Also will the Clip drive 32 Ohm headphones or is it best I use a CMOY ?

No need to quote all the photos again...

I don't have a Fuze, but from all I read they both should have equal SPL. The Clip+ drives even the 64 Ohm RE0 to more or less satisfactory levels (at least for me), so you should not need an amp. Something like a FiiO or CMOY would probably only degrade the sound quality of the very good sounding AMS-based Sansas anyways.

48 hours ago,I read this thread and liked what I saw.
Live in Toronto and found the NuForce dealer was in Ottawa.
Ordered a full kit for an old iPod Touch 1G.
Arrived today and it's a softer sound than I expected...

I guess this is how the addiction starts?
NuForce Triplets
Sans rubber band
Can't beat the small form factor of this amp

Now I am left craving more power,as usual.
Sort of like those people called chiliheads that can't get high enough on the Scoville scale.
Found myself turning the volume up all the way and then was scrolling for the Loudness in the iPod equalizer.
