Need some word of advice here... My Edition 8 is expected to arrive here by Friday and I'm thinking of going either

1. Imod 5.5G 80G + ALO LOD + Iqube V1
2. Cowon S9 32gb

I've heard that the Cowon s9's headphone out is brilliant and would like to know if the imod setup will have a dramatic improvement or not. Price is also very different between the two but I am willing to spend it if its worth it. I'm sorry for intruding this thread with such noobish question... I don't have much experience and knowledge in portable setup.

Thanks! My first "expensive" earphones, got them this week as an upgrade from EX90s. I'm not disappointed.

The Zune HD is excellent. Really enjoying it. It's just so much fun to kick back at a coffee shop and listen to music, and be able to mess around on the Internet without having to bring a laptop. Great little device.

Sansa Clip 8gb & Fiio E3

After years of playing around with iPods, spending hundreds of pounds on the latest iPod etc, I've finally found happiness with a Clip costing me £39.99 and a Fiio E3 for £4.99 - If only I'd read and believed all the glowing comments of this little MP3 player & Amp on Head-Fi first, I'd have saved myself enough money for some decent IEM's !!

I can't wait for the Clip+ to hit the UK....
