In wikiphonia I posted while ago T50v2 pictures (http://wiki.faust3d.com/wiki/index.php?title=Fostex_T50_v2). This pair seems to look the same. No writting "REGULAR PHASE STEREO HEADPHONE". Cable like in kapton NADs (round Y splitter)?

They look the same externally, no writing on the outer plastic. But your pair has the standard bar magnet structure while mine has slot perforations. The magnets resemble the Aiwa HP-500. I'm not sure what type of diaphragm material it has. Also, mine has a cloth covered cable and solid metal 1/4" connector, like the T50v1.

To which extend is such an old T50 identical with our NAD beasts? from the looks, I'd say >90%...

So it must be more like SS-100 driver magnets, like on the picture above. Hmmm, yet another T50 version? :)

Tyre, I think you'll find bar magnets on the other side of the slotted steel plate. Everything looks T50-normal, though the metal is finished in a different way from the earlier T50 family, and there are those six embossed dots.
Here's "Kapton" Kabeer's photo of his T50v2:

This is pretty much what you see when you pull the biscuit and/or felt ring off a T50/NAD /Maior driver. So gurubhai was right, it's a T50 of some sort, and you're in the right ballpark, but we have to figure out how come you got a Mylar diaphragm.

Huh, randomly stumbled upon this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fostex-T50rp-super-mod-kit-includes-paxmate-newplast-/110747585352?pt=UK_AudioVisualElectronics_HomeAudioHiFi_Headphones&hash=item19c9120b48

Anyone we know?

(yup another really ghetto looking mod).  The YHE is recabled with mogami (stripped of its shielding), currently stock damping and these really rough sponge earpads (i have good condition stock earpads, but I wanted to try mod it from the outside rather than the inside, to keep as much sensitivity as i could).
Overall v.nice, except upper mids are a sligghttly strident..need to tame that a bit. These are just initial impressions. might want to gain back more warmth later...who knows.

So I've heard of dynamat, paxmate... anyone know if this stuff is similar? It's the closest thing I could find in my local computer shop:

A fellow head-fier was kind enough to send me some Paxmate to experiment with and I just picked up some of the SilverStone foam pad today from Memory Express. They are very similar, if not identical. They are quite light-weight and designed to absorb sound waves.

Dynamat, in contrast, is a heavy, gel-like stuff that's laminated to a metal foil backing. It's designed to stop the cups from vibrating and generating resonance sounds.

I bet you'll achieve the contrary you've intended with that posting...
