Got an iPod 7G and am thinking about installing a 128G SSD on it... Anyone knows if iTunes will recognize it after the mod? I heard the newer iTunes kinda checks the capacity of the drive and the model, and if they don't match, you won't be able to sync content?
Thank you for all your work you have done you made this whole thing very easy for me I am going to ended up buying the MX-Technology 60GB 1.8" PATA MX-NANO Series ZIF SSD - MXSSD1MNANOZ-60G SSD in a few days I have a iPod Classic 6th Gen right now that has the click of death and I have 28GBs of music so this whole thing should work out well right? Just want to make sure that I am doing everything right and that the drive you listed still worked.
THANKS A MILLION!!!

I have both a 5G 30GB iPod and an 80GB 5.5G iMod. The 5G needs a new battery, and I was considering a HDD upgrade while I was in there. I hadn't considered a SSD option, I will definitely be looking into this as soon as I rebuild my bank account (Just bought Denon AH-D5000 phones and a Millett MiniMAX kit).
