Nope. I have given up on the 512GB Mini for now. I am working on testing the 512GB SDXC 7.5G Classic.

I would like to see what will happen after uploaded 256GB of music, Every SDXC to CF adapter have limit, I think Tarkans adapter have limit of 256GB ... It will recognise 512GB card but after 256GB of uploaded music iPod will crash... Please test it if you can....

How you can use thin back and Tarkan CF to SDXC at same time? Everyone says that is impossible

I also use the Tarkan adapter with my 5.5 gen that's transplanted into a classic case with a stock battery and thin back.  I was a little worried closing it the first time because the LCD is a tiny bit thicker than a 6th / 7th gen but there seems to be plenty of room.  I haven't tried it yet but I also think that a generic CF to SDXC adapter in a Tarkan iFlash would be fine as well, they seem to be the same thickness.

What is rockbox?  Sorry for the basic questions, I'm new to upgrading my ipod.
Also, where could I get this done.  There's no way I can do it myself!

Where are you located? Finding a place to do this is going to be difficult.  I tried every where near me that fixes electronics and no one would touch it.  I do it for all my friends now.  $50 + parts.

I'm in Columbus OH.  I found a shop that does it, but wouldn't do it on mine because nothing larger than 120 GB would work with the apple OS.
I didn't know about Rockbox at the time.

If I wanted to go 500GB, what am I looking at all in?

Find a good video describing the process on youtube, watch a few times and dive in.  If you can get a spare to practice on (maybe a busted one off ebay or wherever)so much the better.  The first time will take longer than the video, but you'll soon get the hang of it.

FYI: ibood.com is having the PNY 128GB MicroSDXC in promotion just for today, so until midnight CET. You can find it in the EXTRA category in the Dutch, Belgian, German, Austrian or Polish site. (So you will have to find a way to order in dutch, german or polish and I am not sure if they send outside of Europe). I've ordered from them before and they are very reliable although they do have a tendency to have long shipping delays.
