Music Alchemist Awhile ago I was wondering where everyone has gone...you're the only person still contributing in this thread! I hope lots of people benefit from all the effort you've made. It would be a shame if everyone has simply stopped caring about the free FLAC thread. I mean, who doesn't want free music, ya know?!

I can't remember if I shared this link here before, but in the past I started a similar thread with lots of free music. It's mostly redundant due to the existence of this one, but anyone who wants to can share MP3, DSD, etc. there.

Thanks! though this is definitely not difficult; it's just another minute tacked onto the DL process :)

Looking at your thread, I don't see a lot of overlap, so it's not redundant! Thanks!

I think anyone who finds a qualifying album (Free or NYP + FLAC quality available) should consider posting here.  No one should feel pressured to post every day or week; just whenever the discovery is made.

The only reason at least one of us should post fairly often is to prevent mods from thinking the thread is "dead".  If it was closed, I'm sure one of us would quickly continue in a new thread, though it would be a shame to break the page streak (unless there's some kind of hidden page/post limit for a thread we don't know about...)

For each reg. user who "checks in" like you do, I'm sure there are at least 10 guests doing the same as well :)

With that logic, there might be around 100-200 people staying updated on this thread!  I think artists could be catching on to this as well since more and more album pages mention "spread this NYP link to your friends!"...

Alaska In Winter

To describe this: electronic music, 8 bit influences, with vocals. Not dubstep or trap, but similarly influenced. Some 80's/arcade/futuristic/sounds from the movie tron come through also

He ended the project and put the albums up for free, flac included.
