Let's share music together!

Post whatever you like (all file formats are welcome, from lossy to lossless to DSD) as long as they are links to download pages authorized by the copyright owners for free digital distribution.

(I am aware there exists a free FLAC thread; for what it's worth, I conceptualized this one prior to that realization.)

No streaming links are allowed unless a download is provided.

Please do not embed videos in your posts either — let's focus on the downloads!

FYI: Some links may require you to enter your email address in order to receive the download. For Bandcamp pages with the Name Your Price option, just click Buy Now and enter 0 for the price.

So as not to overwhelm you, I will hold myself back for now.

As my first contribution, I proudly present to you the mighty Mega Ran!

Formerly known as Random, Mega Ran makes "chip hop" — rap with video game music samples. Capcom granted him an exclusive license to use Mega Man tunes in his songs...but more interestingly, he released three albums based on Final Fantasy VII.

Steve Roach is my favorite ambient artist. He has albums going all the way back to the 1970s. You can download samples from most of them by clicking on each album on his discography page.

Various Artists: Bound Together

OverClocked ReMix is an organization that remixes video game music. They have produced an enormous amount of material. You can download their albums here, individual songs here, and more remixes here.

I recommend starting with Final Fantasy VII: Voices Of The Lifestream.

And to top it all off, here is an article with lots of links to free high-res music downloads.

Good idea for a thread and great companion to the Free FLAC thread, but wow that is a LOT to scroll through. Can you compile a master list of links, then put all the bulky album art/track lists in a spoiler tag? It'd be much easier to navigate!

Thanks!

Yeah, it was even harder to put together, and that's less than 1% of the stuff I could share.

I could put that entire Mega Ran section after the first three albums in a spoiler box. I thought of doing that initially, but thought some people who might appreciate it would miss them.

The track lists you speak of are actually links to individual tracks that are free, while the rest of the album is not.

If anyone's into House/EDM, then there's a great artist called Tobu (or sometimes 7obu) who has most of his releases for free on Soundcloud or his Facebook page.

https://soundcloud.com/7obu
Limited to 320 MP3, just to note.

It's hard not to find great free music these days. These are some of my favorites that I've found on Bandcamp:

A beautiful soul EP from this magnificent, up-and-coming artist.

"Realla" - TOKiMONSTA ft. Anderson .Paak
Brilliantly crafted, this single fuses together two genres to create a piece of art.

"THE MAZE TO NOWHERE / PART 1 & PART 2" - Lorn
These two EPs are a joy to behold. Deep, entrancing electronic tunes.

These few minutes of live, sonic power are utterly enchanting.

This is a short, fun electronic EP from Italy's Original Cultures label.

There is so much more music to be found on Bandcamp. I recommend putting some time into exploring the depths of this great site.
