Because you know I'm all about that bass,
'Bout that bass, no treble
I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble
I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble
I'm all 'bout that bass, 'bout that bass

I visited my local Lexus showroom and they introduced me their new sound system on their new car with Mark & Levinson *tuning*. When I got in, the salesperson played us some track. Here's how they sound:
+30dB bass -30dB treble.

What sales person told me: It sounds great isn't it? So I decided to check on the EQ. damn...

Have a guess on the EQ the salesperson set it to and he claimed it hi-fi sound sig.

I'm glad my dad likes balanced sound....

As much as I love audio, I would take vacation over it which is why, I usually have vacations once or twice every year. But I would agree with you! I spend a lot of my time listening to music via speaker/headphone so investing in audio is worth it.

Here's the formula: 1hr = $1. If you spend 5 hours a day using it, it will be 1825hours a year. Headphones like HD800 are expected to last 10 years and thats 18250hr!
I hate vacations. I'd rather have a SennHueser HueD800. (HUEHUEHUEHUE)

As an ex-brony (to all you bronies who think you can't escape the fandom, you can)...Ugh.
I refuse to listen to "brony music," as much as it sounds like a proper song without the brony tag. But then again, there are these hints that separate brony music from regular music, which is why I detest it to no end.
why would I want to escape. I just love this fandom. You said that as though being a brony is something to be ashamed of.

... :/ I don't even listen to brony music m80.

LOL. That just made my day.

Also, I let my friend listen to "Desperado" by The Eagles with my K240 Sextett... After the song was over, he took a look at me and said "Wow"

Get the HD800 then, it's going to be worth it. Especially if you like Eagles, for the album Hell Freezes Over I prefer the HD800 over K812. The K812 may have less treble peak than the HD800, but listening to Hotel California from that album really shows the upper distortion of the K812.

I'm always surprised people rank the K812 over the HD800. Even Beats headphones have less distortion than the $1500 K812. If AKG release a MKII version of the AKG K812, I might consider giving that headphone an other try if they address the issues of the current K812.

My dad likes aything that focus on midrange and bring out the sweetness of the artist's voice. Anytthing natural will do him good too!

Less distortion?  Where'd you get that information XD

I never ranked the K812 above the HD800. No matter what song I play, it is obvious that technicality-wise, the HD800 holds the lead. The only thing that warrants having both for me is the holographic vocal presentation of the K812, which is very captivating.

A non-audiophile friend of mine came by recently and listened to both, and after nearly an hour he said the HD800 sounds 'cleaner' than the K812.
