Any fully balanced options? Trying to stay under $2k aud

Onkyo DP-X1 seems to be the weapon of choice ATM. Has issues with build quality by all accounts if you go onto the thread.
It's a DAP BTW. Chord Mojo is the Amp/DAC FOTM.

Don't fall for the balanced = better marketing ploy. You cannot compare balanced/single-ended across different brand/model. For example, my Hugo single end output sound significantly better than my AK240's balanced out. Same for the Mojo, the Aurender Flow and the HM901 with minibox amp board. Bottomline, K10 is not picky with the source and pairs as well with almost everything as any IEM.

Even on the same device, balanced isn't necessarily better. I prefer the SE output on my ak100ii to the balanced output (though that may have something to do with the fact that my favorite cable, the Linum Music, is only available SE).

I agree. I have the DP X1 (currently using right now with K10 and Linum Balanced), and I really dont see any major differences when running the K10 from my Alo Audio Tinsel cable and Paw Gold. I agree that the K10 can really exceed and sound great from any source.

+1 With device dependent. I think it is mostly on how the designers make them. If they poured all of their resources into developing the single-ended output, and half-heartedly includes the balanced-ended to sell their products, might as well stick to the better one. Of course, the reverse can happen.

Spending time listening to my wife's Savant > iPhone 6+. Amazing how well it sounds. Of course the K-10 is the undisputed Heavy weight champion of the universe. Mine are customs and the Savant is a universal. The Savant would sound even better! But still K-10 rules.

It is hard for me to say which i like the best,as each one has an attribute i enjoy as soon as i put them in my ears.

Savant, balanced clarity
K10, balanced sound with grin factor lows

The K10 is the best, I have spoken.

Said in God's voice from Mel Brooks "History of the World" when he addressed Moses right after he broke the third tablet of commandments
