Back to the Bell, my K10 are once again going travelling. Good thing I really enjoy the Bell. My K10's have traveled more than I have, I have only flown twice in my 54 years on the planet.

Flying with my CIEMs is the best thing about flying. I think I've flown to 12 different countries with my UERR, and two more with my Encores last month, it makes sitting on a noisy plane tolerable, and it makes walking around a foreign city feel like epic adventures. You gotta try it, play some piano concertos on the plane and play Pavarotti while at the destination, it's like my very own John Woo movie being filmed

Right now about the only time I don't like wearing anything is when I am at the casino. I feel it takes away from the atmosphere, I took them once and never wore them again.

I've never understood how people can tolerate CIEM'S on a plane. My ears are so uncomfortable from the cabin pressure, the last thing I want is anything in my ears. We are all different I guess.

I've always felt uncomfortable with cabin pressure prior to getting CIEMs, I find that I have to equalize pressure using my nose quite often. With CIEMs, because of the seal, cabin pressure affects me a lot less, and I can't remember the last time I've had to equalize on a plane. That and the noisy kids don't bother me anymore, because I can't hear them.

Gisele is a star and I highly recommend her to everyone I know in London who is even remotely interested in getting CIEMs. She is a real perfectionist when it comes to impressions, very experienced and just a great person to talk to. Works with some of the biggest stars, but will give every customer the same 5-star service.

Demoed my first serious IEMs there (mainly the Noble line), bought my first CIEMs there (I could sadly not afford the Dulce Bass at the time) and have visited there several times more for TOTL demos. Her reputation is very well deserved and earned through hard work.

The isolation part to me is the best, there is very little relief while being crammed on a plane like cattle.....

Pretty much sums up my impressions, she even went to the extra effort of posting my K10s special delivery down to Cornwall where I was on holiday as the delivery got delayed due to a broken down plane in China.

nowadays , the competition is way too high to buy blind, so do some reading in the forum , ask the more experienced members in the thread i posted and hopefully you will buy something to melt your ears away

As a licensed Audiologist, I hope I am never involved with any device that "melts away" a person's ear. That would be painful and woefully negligent.

John I have another challenge for you. Build something that doesn't wow you, but if you listen long enough, you will all of a sudden thinks its great. But make sure to only sell it with a discount, that's how you win people over.

I thought they were pretty magical from the get-go. That said, for my ears, I am recently using double flange silicone tips with the Bell. It tames the bass quantity. It opens up the mids and overall soundstage, width-wise. The treble becomes more “airy”. The problem is double flange tips irritate my ears so I end up with a 10 minutes wearing time before I HAVE to take them out.

I was wowed as well but I was considering them from physics perspective all that bass from such a tiny diaphragm...perplexing

That and i finally had something my wife could use without struggles. Her ear canals are extremely small.

The logic that anything you have to listen to over a long period of time to like them means you bought the wrong ones, IMHO. I feel you need to love them from the get go, then feel they are mind blowing, amazing etc etc. If they don't start off at a certain level, then wouldn't just buying some piece of junk at 7-11 and listen them until they wow you make more sense?
