To see what i mean about the "galaxy vs swirl" issue here is the reprint that i wanted vs the completed CIEM. :

Reprint Chosen:

Completed IEM:

It's close.. and VERY beautiful. But not quite what i had in mind haha. It doesnt have that "staring off into forever" look the originals had.

Also they ended up placing the "Wizard" signature in the wrong location than where i wanted it. (I didnt want the signature to cover up the art) I hope its not too big of an issue for the Noble team!

Wow! Now I get it. I totally feel and see what you mean by 'Galaxy' and 'Swirl'. Amazing how the Galaxy makes you feel compared to the Swirl.
I still think your design is cool, however I too would be disappointed myself if I had set my heart on the Galaxy.
The main thing here is the cost is still extremely high for one to just think, 'ok, that'll do', when it won't.

Folks, without getting into the details of how this is done, the patterns are very random, we could attempt to cooy a piece an infinite amount of times and not capture an exact duplicate.

As Odevans said, base materials are the same, but results will vary.

Oh now I get it.  So that means when we choose a reprint we are choosing the colors and the material, however the design, artwork, and how much of each color there is in the reprint are random and cant be reproduced.
Some of the designs in the lookbook are truly breathtaking. I guess its up to the luck of the draw!

Just happened to pop by and what do I see, one of my K10's chosen for your reprint, quite happy you like it (the blue and red galaxy). Sorry to hear you didn't quite get what you were after but still a big fan of yours too, beautiful as always

I just got my k10's back from a refit and holy crap they sound 10 × better than before. I dont think i could possibly have a better fit than this. I can chew talk and do anything else and the seal foesnt even think about breaking.Having a great seal is absolutely crucial. I went with a slightly closed relaxed jaw instead of a bite block like the 1st time. So much better. I wasnt 100% wowed with my original set of k10's but now that i got them refitted im listening to a ciem on a whole new level! Thanks brannan and sunny!

In some respects, "Yes."  For example, woods, we can use the same species of wood, but they will never look the same.   Each product is a 1 of 1.   A reprint is really an attempt to capture the spirit of an original Wizard design.   It isn't meant to be an exact copy, as an exact copy isn't possible.

I've narrowed down my end game (realistically, price wise) to my U12s vs Noble Encores. It's extremely hard. Anyone here have any comparisons between the two?
