Is there anyone who hasn't had any issues?

Got mine, they work okay. :)

These IEMs certainly aren't the best phones I've heard, but I really appreciate how smooth and non-fatiguing they are. Just thought I'd say something positive since this thread seems to be negative lately.

Just FTR - although I've never owned the SE215, I have had the SE315 and SE425 (the SE425 for a considerable period).  I never had an issue with either.

Mine have been fine with no issues with either the iPhone or regular cable and that was while I swapped back and forth for testing purposes.

I actually just sent mine back as the left earpiece had crackling sounds sometimes when I moved my head. The problem also occurred when I would rotate the cable in the left earpiece. I asked the store to swap it for another brand as after all the comments here, then my experience, I am not to keen on the reliability of the product.

I had complained about the treble earlier, however with burn in and me getting used to the sound I was starting to appreciate the headphones. I loved the bass on these babies. Hope the next pair has comparable bass and mid-range, but with better highs.

Ok update time.

2 weeks later they still work just fine. I can't see them failing easily. Is it possible people were getting a bad batch?

Well, both sides don't work at all unless I turn my head in a specific position... and now the cable on the left side looks like this:

Sigh... I also took the earpieces off and there is a lot of green corrosion on both the cable and socket. I emailed Shure asking if they'll still warranty the headphones since I shortened the cable.

Well, Shure won't warranty the cable.

I'm at 2 weeks with these, no issues whatsoever. My bass has expanded with burn-in. These have definitely been a step up for me and have made it easier to compare sound characteristics between my Sennheisers and MS400s. They were an impulse buy but I have no real regrets. SQ is great, there is some artificiality in the highs but the bass is great with electronic music. I would easily recommend these to someone looking to get more serious about SQ from Skullcandies and the like.
