Did you try the other side of the connector on the bad side?

Had the same cable problem - did you try bending (pinching) the jack so that it's more of a V than an L shape? Doing that told me it was the cable - cure was calling JHA who overnighted a new one. Sucks that it happened to you on a three-day holiday weekend.

Yeah been reading that a lot too.  Hope it doesn't happen to mine, not like you can switch it out with something aftermarket.

Yes...no luck either.
sounds like it could be a common occurrence. Funny because I was praising how much I loved the cable from the start...guess I spoke too soon.

Is it the stock cable or the balanced cable that earphone solutions sells?  either way, I think an email/call to them would indeed fix it...

Interestingly enough I saw someone say UM could swith the pins to the standard 2 pins config..Also wonder if you could get someone like Ted at headphone lounge to modify the pins on the stock cable...

I know what you mean, I'd be pretty upset about that too.

Yeah...well...hopefully I'll be taken care of...thanks anyway though KimChee, I'm sure I'll be interested in third party cables, however, I never really completed my "new gear acquisition" phase. Very disappointed at the moment. The Rox was starting to grow on me a little.
