I also think it is shorter on UE but still depends on how busy they are at the time you ordered your ciem.

yeah, i'm just moving and wondering if they're going to arrive before i move on the 20th, and the mold should of arrived Fri. It will be a little annoying if i have to go back and pick them up at a later date, it being like a 6 hour drive. But I'll survive, looks unlikely to get back in time because i used standard shipping, not expecting to have to move quite this early.

Although I'm not currently in the market for a CIEM, if I was looking for a (relatively) fast turnaround for a CIEM, I'd probably be considering either UE or EarWerkz.
I'm not saying anything about the sound signatures of any of the CIEMs by either of those companies. I am purely discussing turnaround time, here.

If you are in Europe, the German companies like Rhines Customs and Vision Ears also have a quick turnaround time.

+ ACS
Vic29
Previously known as Rollk2
ACS has office in many countries, they also produce in France, Germany, Great Britain... so turnaround time depends.
EarSonics can produce CIEM between 3 and 10 days, it's the fastest CIEM maker I know.
But, the easiest way is to ask the manufacturer to call you when they have finished your CIEMs, then they can send them where you are.

one more quick question. I'm a little concerned about using it on PC because of the possibility of a spike in volume, a loud ad or if i play game, someone having a really loud mic. This is concerning for 2 reasons, it can be damaging to a $1,000 piece of equipment, and this while using an iem seems more likely to damage my hearing then a speak in speakers or over ear headphones. Is there a program i can install on my pc that caps the volume?

You can limit the amount of gain when playing media in Foobar. There should be some more information in the Hydrogenaudio forums.

I am using my customs with my laptop/pc all the time. No problem at all. I am playing games, watching movies or tv series, spending time in youtube and obviously listening to music. I have zero problem mate. I don't think you will have problem either. Just pay attention to your master volume that controls the volume of everything in your computer. If it is low, everything with sound will go low.

Only heard great things about them. But I think you might have to do some research around here on HF to learn more.

There are a couple of VE6-related threads I'm aware of, but you'll have to dig around, using the 'search' function within each thread - if you happen to be unfamiliar with where that is, it can be seen in this old screen grab (sorry, couldn't be bothered to re-do it

My Alclair RSMs are here, they are incredibly neutral with a huge soundstage.
