I have heard that they shrink
Hi Metalboy. I remembered that you bought the NT-6pro. How is it now? you said previously that the highs were too shrill or metalic. Have the highs tamed down now?
And what are your impressions on them?
Thanks
I have heard that they shrink
Some does - if made from old-type material. Basically silicone-based material has like 99,6% shrink ratio after one year. Which means that such impressions almost don't change over time
Thanks for telling meThen I can use my 2.5 months ear impressions I got back from heir audio if I want to. But I almost wish that they didn´t do that

Hi, I like it much more now. Yes they have, I don´t know if they have a extremly long burn in time, but the highs are much better now, especialy with the Toxic silver cable.

HERE is a link to my thread about that new low priced CIEM company I mentioned a few days ago. I got a lot of questions about it so I figured I would post a link here.
Yes, they do take some time to burn in and I am glad you like the more now. However, Hidition has changed something with the NT-6 pro (coupler?) so the treble is smoother, yet still very detailed. I can say the NT-6 pro offers the best clarity and presents amazing amounts of detail and resolution, and serves it up quite well. My NT-6 pro also has silicone tips and the fit is perfect, which does help with the overall sound in my experience.
I am assuming they are cut down, right? They should work unless the manufacturer wants something more, but you should be able to send a picture for verification. What are you planning on getting?
Very nice, thank you!
I did manage to clog one of the internal filters in my SA-12 and still have yet to send it for repair.

Thanks Metalboy. So the silver poison helped to tame the highs? I though that it would make it even more peaky. I have always thought silver cables were to enhance highs and tighten the bass. Copper was to give warmer bass and to tame the highs.
Maybe I'm wrong with this concept?
Joe can you give a view as you have the nt-6, nt-6 pro and ls8 with multiple cables such as the magnus and twag2.
Thanks
If you want enhanced bass, the i9pro is great from a "won't break due to sweat" CIEM. I did manage to clog one of the internal filters in my SA-12 and still have yet to send it for repair. I am now using the LS8 and I have to say I love the sound but am a bit fearful of getting sweat in them, although I try to be extra careful.
Great to hear you have them back and especially great that they now fit! I am looking forward to your evaluation when you are ready! Cheers
