Low end. Cheap. Generic. Otherwise bang for buck cable thread!

^ I too have a number of XINHS cables and that is the one that I like the most.

It’s a surprisingly resolving cable that enhances midrange while keeping treble and bass extended without dominating the mix. It doesn’t actually make the sound thick though. In fact it’s very clear and transparent in how it handles transients.

It also has a blacker background than anything else I’ve tried in its price range.

Very good price now, don't have the XINHS. But my Gladiator Silver Palladium is maybe my favorite cable, and your description is very accurate to how mine is.
Just a well behaved cable with great expansion and accurate sound characteristics. While not thick sounding its a clear and full sound, not thin by any means.

Might pick this up now, can get one for my MIROAK-II 🤔

Thanks for the tip on the palladium cable.
Perhaps because I'm new to the audio hobby, or because of the difficulty of finding the right words for the translator. I assume that I expressed myself incorrectly at the expense of the sound I want to get.

Let's ask a little differently.
I like the sound of my new iKKO oh10S, but I feel that the standard cable has a very clamped sound, and this cable
https://sl.aliexpress.ru/p?key=bs3kZVX does not reveal everything that these IEMs are capable of.
Which cables do you recommend for the best synergy?

Who has experience using such an adapter?
adapter 4.4mm to 3,5mm
Will there be a difference in sound quality compared to a modular cable?

I have and use a whole bunch of adapters. Among the ones on AE, I like the ones by Xinhs and Fdbro (cheaper) best. To me, the difference in sound quality depends on the quality of the plug and solder used (as well as the cable) so there can be good modular cables and bad adapters. Sometimes I can hear the difference, sometimes I don’t.

When I asked, Xinhs confirmed to me that their mid tier cables (like the palladium one I mentioned previously) are hand soldered with better plugs and I can generally hear the difference in quality, so it may be worth reaching out to them if you want them to use better plugs or solder.

I’m not a fan of modular cables in general as the connection seems less sturdy (than adapter plugs) and I’ve had one of those fail on me before. But to be fair I haven’t explored them as widely as I already had an extensive collection of adapters before modular systems became popular.

In terms of sound quality, my preference is still for fixed plugs. I just get 4.4 balanced since I use it for most of my gear, and throw on an adapter when I need 3.5 single ended.

In other news, Nicehck First Touch anyone? :p
Currently $22.99 before tax for 4.4 balanced with code KLAENDD93DTS

Thank you, a valuable experience for me, in tune with my thoughts.

8 Cores Pure Silver And Single Crystal Copper Mixed Braid Cable

With my Penon 10th Anniversary IEM.....beautiful.

Good cable but really heavy. I still prefer ISN S8/S16.

This is very similar to the standard cable from iKKO oh10S, only much thicker. Maybe this is what I'm looking for. I am stopped by very thick ear hooks and a 2 pin 0.78 connector that is too high.

You could potentially take this to Xinhs and ask them to customise something for you with the exact specs you want, including the sort of connectors you prefer (for example, I usually ask for mine without ear hooks and recessed 2 pin connectors).

I’ve ordered customised cables from them several times and have been very happy with the service and the result - often better than their off the shelf products.

Yes, I did, but yesterday and today is the very day when xinhs understands very poorly what he is being told 😅

Any intel on Nicehck FirstTouch cable? I like the classy looks and there is a hefty coupon discount on it, but idk it may be a very regular cable with a typical AliExpress bs discount.
Good deal or nah?

I have the ISN S16 (and C16). The S16 is way thicker and heavier than the XINHS 8 Cores Pure Silver and Single Crystal Copper Mixed Braid Cable, £25, and after listening to both, the XINHS sounds a lot more synergistic with my HiBy R6 III. Very different and noticeably more enjoyable. Of course we have different tastes and enjoyments, but the XINHS is such a good cable. I have way more expensive cables but the XINHS 8 Cores Pure Silver and Single Crystal Copper Mixed Braid Cable matches all of them.

I have it too, and can confirm that it's a great cable. You can really hear the overlaid characteristics of silver and copper, rather than the blend that silver plated copper gives. It can be a bit much for a very intense or dynamic IEMs, but really brings neutral tunings to life.
