Just like to share that I have just place my order for the FX700 with Dimitri. Now got to wait. Hope it's not too long.
Anyone used them direct from a Centrance DacPort?

If my loaner shows up I'll let you know.  Should be a nice pairing if the treble isn't over the top.

Thanks Jame444!  It's a bit of your fault. After reading your marvellous reviews on them I was convince that they were my next Dynamic IEM. I'm looking forward to listen to Dave Matthews Band (Live in Vegas) on them but for what I read they seem to handle very well any genre. I mostly listen to acoustic being Rock Jazz or String instrumental like Yo Yo Ma or Lucia Micarelli.

This is a very interesting thread for sure.  Now I read that the Monster tip or the most recommended one for them?  Can we just buy them online?

Thanks!

Ok, I take the blame, but only if you like them.

Both "Live at Luther College" and "Live at Radio City Music Hall" are among my favorite albums, but I haven't heard the new DMB live record yet. Oh, and very much looking forward on what you'll have to say about strings with the FX700...

I don't know where you can get the Monster tips in Canada, but I think the JVC stock tips are very good, so maybe you better wait till you've tried these.

James, thanks I`ll wait and see how the original tip are.  I owned both "Live at Luther College" and "Live at Radio City Music Hall" and love them verry much but I think the last album in Vegas is very good.

Is the JVC FX700 very different from the FX1000 in terms of bass?
Thanks!

The fx700 and fx1000 are the exact same earphone. I think the company was originally planning on calling it the fx1000, but later changed the model name before release.

Oh is that so! Thanks, because where I live, the FX1000 is available at US 250 but not the FX700!
Does that price sound OK?
(And I had read somewhere that the FX1000 is the same as FX500, so wasnt sure!)

? This thread says the FX1000 is a rebadged FX500. http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/426553/confirmation-jvc-ha-fx1000-is-the-jvc-victor-hp-fx500

I was also told by a dealer once that the FX1000 was just an FX500. Considering the price, that would make sense.

On the Eagles' Hotel California live intro the kick drum really makes you jump. Not that it feels lacking with the e-Q7, but it doesn't startle you in any way. It's more like some polite servant asking: "Is it allright if we play some bass, Sir?"

I have phones. They go in my ears. They look fairly similar to the things presented in this thread. I don't need to read anything more, I'm a happy man.

LOL!!! I don't know how far I plan to read this thread, but I just had to quote these 2 lines.

WOW!  I have received my FX700 today and they are glued-ed to my ear since I have unpacked them. You guys were not kidding. Not only I ear the music with all the textures of the Guitar string, the vibration of the cymbal and the impact of the drums but I also fell the music with a sense of dimension that no other headphone gave me before.

You have to listen to the song call Catalpa from Diego Barber, album Calima. To die for.

Thank's to all of you for this new musical experience.

PS: And thanks to Dimitri at Musica Acoutics. Very good service and excellent communication and fast shipping.

Hehe I lucked out big time! I was going to buy inks pair but then I had to withdraw to some unforseen expenses. My uncle and aunt were going to buy me a graduation present anyways so when they found out they agreed to get it for me brand new

Should be getting them some time next week.

And twinster, Dimitri is great, his lifetime support guarantee is awesome!
