FLAC is the same (bit-for-bit identical to WAV) and you get tags and shorter sizes.
Finally, this device basically has you abandon any investment you have in other codecs such as mp3.
I personally have little to no MP3 investment except the occassional freebie giveaway. FLAC still needs to be decoded. Whether that matters or not is another question for a different sub forum.
