Thanks, Tom.. they sound excellent with every type of music I've run through them.. but well recorded jazz, in particular, is stunning.  I'm listening to Thom Rotella's "Out of the Blues" album and the ODAC > QUICKSTEP > JH13 conveys the delicacy of his playing in such a superb, effortless, natural fashion.
 
I took that close-up shot of the JH13 (in my initial impressions post) just for you.. knowing someone would appreciate good "IEM sound tube" porn when they saw it.

I hate jazz, I have always hated it and even now I have no jazz tracks at all in my storage.  However, I listened to some of my friends jazz tracks through my jh16's when I first got'em and... I was stunned, I was wowed.  At that moment, jazz was pretty frickin awesome.  However, I still won't own any jazz music because that would mean that I have lost the argument that my jazz-loving buddies always argue about. 
 
Also, now I have an itch to get the jh13's...

I'm in the same situation mate, when were your impressions received? If it's been more than a month then you've only got about a week left.

Besides, it's the sweet sweet anticipation that will make it all the more better when it arrives. With the money you saved from the rush fee, you can invest in a nice cable for your new iems (like I just did a minute ago through chris_himself)!

The impressions were recieved on 06-10. And speaking of cables, i order an 8-strand silver+1%gold (plussoundaudio) a week after sending the payment for the jh13. And its already with me. I whip the children on my block with it in anticipation of the jh13s.

Jokes aside, i wish jhaudio can update their customers' orders more often and with more info. In regards to its production state.

The more they respond, the longer it will take unless they hire more people in which case the price will go up. Patience is a virtue.

Hahaha, so were mine! You shouldn't complain because even though our orders will be completed at the same time, I'll probably have to wait an extra two days since I'm in Oz. 

I've emailed them a few times but different people tell me different things and even then, they all seem to just be providing standard estimations and no real updates on your specific order. Anyway, assuming there base estimate of 25 business days, we still have a week to go before they arrive.

Most recently I got an email saying: "Looks like this order should ship out by the end of next week or sooner." so that should be promising.

Let's see which one of us receives our JH 13s first!

Anyway, the heat is off jhaudio, its now on the mailman whos carrying it. I pray to god he arrives on time... Otherwise I'd go "Hannibal Lecter" on his ass.

I hear brain is very high in cholesterol so you might want to cut down a little. 

Looks like it's about time to check in to see if mine have shipped or not!

Just placed an order for mine tonight. Should have the impressions out to them by the weekend. $250 rush processing is insane. Is that what they normally charge everyone for rushing? I figured it would be something closer to the $75-$100 range.

Bear in mind their main customers are wealthier musicians who are spoilt and get what they want, when they want. $250 is hardly a dent to their finances.

Unfortunately, the same cannot always be said for us, audiophiles.
