if durability and simplicity is the path then my recabled hd201s would keep me happy. if eargasm is desired for eternity then my recabled k702s would definatly do it for me. ( sorry if im a fanboy of the 70x but they just float my boat!) happy listening everybody

I'd own the timelessly classic HD600s, or Beyer DT250-80s, it's hard to decide... the DT250-80s are nostalgic to me, they got me started, and would surely survive nuclear winter they're so durable!!

Ultimately though, probably the Stax Omega 2 MkI. At least I know it'll have no limitations.

These are the two I'd be considering but, although I recognise the versatility choosing the JH13Pros gives me, I think they would be more of a problem if something went wrong whereas, unless I had a total part failure, I could probably still get the O2 Mk1s running until 'forever/eternity' arrived.

Q40 by M-Audio. I thought the IE8 was great. Then I stumbled upon the Q40 at the local audio shop. Considerably cheaper... but the music it reproduces... dear god I love it.

Very likely the Denon D2000 (amazing at its price-point) or the Grado HF-2 (amazing across myriad genres).

HD800 for me. More like I listen to, more I tends to like it.

For me it's a tie between the YH-3 or the Senn 414. Both haver very good sound signatures and are very durable from what I've experienced.

In the end, I think I'm going to lean a little more toward the YH-3.
