I can see you are getting excited about your TT2. I am sure you will love it. Unfortunately there is a whole new extra world of music quality out there and waiting to be heard when any of the Chord appropriate dual bnc DACs are linked to HMS. You will love your TT2. People love their solo Daves but they are blown away when they add HMS.

I know mate, I've got 5 friends not from head fi but real life and they were disappointed but they all had Hugo 2,we all have very similar music tastes and ears,now I'm with you on this but I don't get why they not hearing it, I'm not slagging chord off or Rob watts I'm just keeping an open mind, can they have the set up wrong? I still feel that it's important to get the best dac as a starter so the M scaler can get the best out of it.Your right a whole different world out there,I've been there but I'm back now lol

Mine arrived an hour ago (sorry Paul! You’ll have yours soon...). Too early for sensible assessment of sound, but there’s no doubt it’s fantastically detailed but full-bodied too. It’s a very nice-looking and solid bit of kit too and a great match for my HMS.

I'm going dizzy following the driver on the map, congratulations mate, don't have the M scaler yet just the Hugo TT 2 for me but I'm not complaining lol

I would enjoy the tt2 then when funds permit add the scaler. Triode is right in that it will seriously enhance what you already get from the tt2 otherwise the tt2 wouldn't have dual bnc in. But i can't see any reason to rush just enjoy the music i think.

I found my B and W 803D3 is loud enough with the 7W RMS SE OP. The good thing about TT2 is it has enough current reserves and linearity to drive difficult loads (that is loads that has impedance dropping to 3 ohms like the 803).

Glad you said that, or reminded us of it. Was panicking.
