Glad yours has arrived, Paul. I’ve been listening to mine pretty much non-stop. One thing I have just discovered: I was expecting the volume to easily push my LCD-4s, but I wasn’t finding this. High or low gain, seemed to make little difference. I felt sure Hugo 2 was more capable than this. Then, when I unplugged the ‘phones, TT 2 entered ‘DAC’ mode. So, I changed it to ‘AMP’ mode then plugged the ‘phones back in. Voila, normal service has resumed .
I don’t quite understand why it would behave in this way, but anyway, glad I found it!
Masses of oomph for the LCD-4s now

Strange. My understanding was that plugging in headphones puts the TT2 into
HP mode. Whether it is in DAC or AMP mode before plugging in headphones should make no difference. I stand to be corrected.

I don't want to try it in case it blows my headphones mate.I need to change it over after and put it back on hi gain for my headphones, can't wait to get up in the morning and have a listen while she snoring away

What you listening too?
Does it really increase air pressure from your speakers?

That’s exactly what the instructions indicate. Should remember all last parameter settings when hp were last used. I guess you’ve already unplugged your phones, put it onto other settings, then plugged your phones back in?

It's larger than life, I don't understand how a dac can make the rest of the system so dynamic, it's like a hugo 2 on steroids! !It's more detailed but it's the sheer power the total control it has on the music, Hugo 2 made my speakers sound more detailed but this has transformed not only my speakers but my headphones as well. I would tell anyone get the best chord dac you can afford and save on top headphones unless you can afford both, trust me this is the heart of my music system like my Arcam Avr 850 is the heart of my Av system.Lol neighbours are away,music I listen too well I listen to a lot of different music, hate classical though, feel like I wanna cut my wrists,although classical makes my indoor plants grow

Yes they complained the other night, I said I would turn it down but they said no it sounds distorted what's happened, well wait till they come back off their holiday,I've posted three sets of ear plugs through their letterbox, I don't want them complaining that the sparkling highs are hurting their ear drums,ear plugs won't do much for the rumbling low's though

The card says chord manual on line as you don't get one in the box, also a hand written signature my Rob Watts, some ppl got a free Chord Mug but I got the signature, that alone is priceless.Also when you have a laptop Chord Hugo TT 2 with a pair of headphones looks are so deceiving,it's like you have a pair of Grande Utopias with a full set of amps it really is amazing
