The total of the 3 systems in my sig is probably around $10.000 all bought since I first started lurking about on head-fi 2½ years ago (curse you head-fi... no not really, I would never have gotten a system like this and so much enjoyment from my music collection otherwise). Before that I had a set of HD25-1 and an older Sony PCDP. I suspect the journey has cost me $1000 in gear that got sold again. However once my new Xin Reference amp and kt88 cables arrive I am not changeing a thing in any of thw systems until something breaks. Honest, I mean it.....

that is crazy....lol..but that has been over a few years...
I spend another 40 on parts this weekend...for DIY...ended up with enough parts to make 5 Cmoys - the opamps that are coming in the mail...I hope...and Then my next project after I successfully make those 5 Cmoys...is a Pimeta...LOL...
Well...sooner or later...I have to go back and get the right 10k Pots...I got the mono ones by mistake...meh...save that for another day...maybe after the long weekend..

That boasts my total up to... $840

Yeah. My total, seventeen posts up from here, was around $700, but now you can add Edition 9s and a Meier Opera amp to that. I am an extremely happy camper at this moment, though.

I'm starting and I'm 15 years old (well the Senn are for my birthday, which is in July, so I'm nearly 16 years old) and I spent, since I subscribed to Head-Fi :

HR's Total Bithead amp ( 150$)
Sennheiser HD650 (350$)

500$ and during this year, I want to get :

Meier's Corda Aria (~440$)
Darth Beyers (???)

-_-

in a 1 month time span I have gotten:

Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro/80
Beyerdynamic DT 990 2005 (250)
AKG k240S
AKG k81DJ
Audio Techinca ES7 (in the mail)
Mylarone X3
V-moda Vibes
Equation Audio RP-15mc (in the mail)
Equation Audio RP-21

So that's almost $900 in a period of about 1 month. However, I'm selling most of them and keeping the ones I liked best.

I need one good home pair, one good on the go pair (phones), one on the go (IEM/canal).
