Playlist Creator and Mp3tag seem to work well for me. Google them and try them out.

OK i've bumped this thread simply because I need some help.

I have the folder that I need to copy to the root directory of my clip+

Problem is, when I attach my clip+ to my laptop I cannot see any root directory.  Just folders such as "audible", "music", "record" etc...

What am I doing wrong here?

That directory where you see all of those other directories?  That's the root.  You're not going to find a dir called root, if that's what you're looking for.  The top level directory is the root.

Root directory does not mean a folder named "root". It means the first directory on the device. Just place the .rockbox folder on the device.

Those folders called "AUDIBLE, MUSIC", etc are in the root directory.
