It was a pleasure being able to help fellow head-fiers to be able to enjoy their 901s. But we should really consider ourselves lucky that Mr. Sang still had a couple of cards in his hands for sale...

Besides, I should receive my 256gb SD card so the 901 will be even more complete...and if Fang nails this new firmware....well R.I.P. AK.

Yes I like what I heard from the card a lot.  That's why I'm trying heard to get one for Kiats.  I could have gotten him the old version (3rd revision of the 1st design) as many who got the 2nd design is willing to sell the old one but I do think the new design is indeed better and more all-rounded.
 
The 1st design is more suited for full size cans like HD800 or K712/812 or LCDs than for IEMs.

The beta testing has not even began yet, not to mention that Hifiman usually does not announce firmware update before it is ready to release.

That's a quite a price but I am sure you gonna like the extra storage. High res music takes huge space. Definitely 128 gb is not enough at all.

I had the impression 901 reads only up to 128? Does this work? This would be awesome.

Have a bit of a problem with my new 901, sometimes during playback, I get random stutters/skips on a song, seems to happen soon after I turn it on, then it wont do it again until it's been turned on and back off again.
 
does anyone else have a similiar issue with their 901?

works when it is not full up, will report when I put 200 on it, but people have tried in the past I think and it worked.
