Damn it Chris, now you got me wanting to buy the EX1000 again! This would make it the third time buying it haha. I really regret selling it and I can imagine that it matches well with the R6. How does the 7550 pair with the R6? I am really enjoying the balanced out, feels a bit more "open" than the regular headphone out but that could just be my imagination. The more I listen to the R6, the more I am loving it. I was up way too late last night listening to the entire In Flames discography.

Unlike with most DAPs I have heard, I think the R6 has his oomph and punch that can't be replicated by EQing the bass. Makes all my fav songs really pop!

Loving your pics as well, what camera are you using? The pics are unreal!

Really looking forward to hearing how the R6 handles sensitive iem's, especially Campfire Andromeda. It's keeping me from hitting the buy now button.

What is the impedance of the andromeda? I will see if I have any multi ba iems with similar impedance specs and test for any sound changes.

I checked the specs for my LZ A4 (https://penonaudio.com/LZ-A4) and its impedance is rated at 16 ohms. I have been using it with the R6 and I didn't hear any sound changes or variations that would be out of character for the A4.

This iem has been my daily driver for a long time and I would definitely be able to hear any unusual changes, due to impedance mismatch or otherwise. YMMV as always.

5-12 ohm - it can get trebly with amps more than 4ohms, pretty obvious with my iphone 5

Ah okay, I never used the andromeda so I have no idea how it sounds. Thanks for the explanation. Would like to see someone test the R6 with something like the andromeda. None of my local stores carry it here in Toronto AFAIK, otherwise I might be able to test it myself.

If they're anything like the A3, then they don't have any crazy curve in the impedance, so there probably isn't much going on. You'd have a bit of a V-shaped response. But what would help a lot more than observations is a loaded measurement of the fr.

What earphones are you using right now? Are you planning an upgrade from those regardless or a change only because of the r6?

535s and 215s for daily ....jh16 v2s ....I had a few upgrades in mind regardless of the hiby but the hiby is shaping that upgrade .....I think I gave the output issue to much traction....

Just pulled the trigger on stainless model. Very excited. Never used Indiegogo before, just wondering how I register a shipping address? Can't find any options to do it anywhere.

There should have been an option to fill in your shipping address, but we will send out questionnaires asking backers for their shipping addresses once again when the campaign backing stage is over.
